CITAB was present at the RNCA Meeting

The researcher André Fonseca was one of the speakers at the RNCA Meeting (Encontro da Rede Nacional de Computação Avançada), promoted by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) through the FCCN unit. This year, the event took place at the University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro (UTAD).

The title of the researcher's presentation was "Change: Modeling and projection of several climatic events", aiming to demonstrate that "advanced computation techniques are able to compute microclimate at a very high spatial resolution datasets in a temporal range that would not be possible with conventional computers, ultimately contributing to more sustainable and efficient grape cultivation and the production of high-quality wines", as explained by André Fonseca.
