Coa Parque Foundation announces a call for 12 PhD research grants

The grants will be funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT)

Côa Parque - Foundation for the safeguarding and enhancement of the Côa Valley, also known as the Côa Parque Foundation, announces a call for the award of 12 (twelve) research grants, hereafter referred to as Doctoral Research Grants, in the scientific areas of Environment and Global Change, Environment, Territory and Population, Cultures and Cultural Production, Study of Human Past, Agriculture and Forest Sciences, Geosciences, Biological Sciences, Institutions, Values, Beliefs and Behaviour, under the Regulation of Research Grants of the Foundation for Science and Technology (RBI) and the Statute of Research Fellows (EBI).

The grants will be funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) under the Collaboration Protocol for Financing the Multiannual Plan of Research Grants for Doctoral Students, signed between FCT and the Côa Parque Foundation. The selected grant holders will have to spend a considerable amount of their time in the Côa Valley territory, as defined later, creating a strong connection to the territory and contributing to its enhancement and recognition. The grant projects should contribute to an effective enhancement of the territory of influence of the Côa Parque Foundation, in its heritage, environmental and social components.
